The Lost Art Of Smocking

Explore the traditional craft of smocking in this hands-on workshop with textile artist Jocasta Bullock. Inspired by historic smock frocks worn by Victorian labourers, you will learn basic stitches and create your own decorative sampler, discovering how this once-practical technique combined durability with intricate design in everyday working garments.
