JULIAN RICHARDS

?

What would it be like to be a young person in the British Isles at different times in the past, even the very distant past? Would life have been freer, tougher, better or worse? What was it like before school, or the term ‘teenager’ was invented? Using a combination of traditional history, archaeology and the latest science, Stonehenge expert and much-loved presenter of BBC’s ‘Meet the Ancestors’ Julian Richards takes us on a brand-new journey of discovery to meet teens through the ages, from Stone Age apprentice hunter to Victorian chimney sweep. If you’ve hit those double-digit years, no matter how long ago, it’s time for Teenage Time Travel!
