Beatlemania! How The Fab Four Re-Wired The Sixties

In the mid-1960s, Britain was vibrating to a radical new frequency. From the screaming crowds of Beatlemania to seismic shifts in fashion, politics and class, the whole country was fundamentally re-wiring itself. Or was it? Join legendary social historian David Kynaston and psychologist and TED Talk veteran Steve Taylor for a nostalgic journey into the heart of the decade. Sixty years on, they debate the myths of the ‘60s and explore how four lads from Liverpool tapped into a collective British psyche, transformed global youth culture, and created a rapidly evolving musical and social phenomenon that still echoes today. Chaired by Vernon Harwood.
