Join children’s author Annelise Gray to hear what inspired her to write her much-loved Circus Maximus series – from National Velvet to Formula One motor racing – and the historical research that went into conjuring up a vivid and authentic portrait of the deadly Roman sport of chariot racing. Includes a reading from the book and time for Q&A.
Annelise will be available to sign copies of her book at Octavia’s Bookshop after the talk.
